RIT Trustees met for a wānanga on 20 February 2026 to set their intentions and governance work programme for the year, which is anticipated to be comprehensive.
In order for the Board to meet this programme of work, Connie acknowledged that she did not have the time due to other commitments and an already extensive workload. At the conclusion of our wānanga, Connie decided to step aside to allow for a Chair who has the capacity needed. Connie will remain a Trustee and will support the new Chair in their role.
After deliberations, Te Aturangi Nepia-Clamp was appointed Chair, and Roxanne Smith remains Deputy Chair. Ngā mihi nui,
